The operating system Windows 7 apparently caused problems with some laptop batteries. Result is a poor battery life and possibly an accelerated wear of the Dell Inspiron 1520 battery. Microsoft is investigating the problem currently.
The problem exists obviously been since June 2009, at the time it was first mentioned in a Microsoft support forum. This bug was already in the beta version of Microsoft’s operating system and came from there in both the Release Candidate as well as in the final version.
The error manifested by the fact that users are alerted her Dell Inspiron 6400 battery had reached the end of its useful life and must be replaced. This error message should really help users to replace a defective battery or early aging, and in almost all modern Operating Systems integrated. On the affected computers, the message appears seemingly for no apparent reason. Affected users report that this error was not the only problem. Rather, the DELL XPS M1330 battery life will be negatively affected. Some sufferers even declared their Laptop was due to this issue in battery mode “almost unusable.”
Some parties even suggest that their batteries were physically damaged by the error. They report that even after the change to another Operating system the Dell Inspiron 1545 battery life has remained extremely low.
Perhaps these problems could be explained also with normal wear – some in the modern Laptops used, lithium-ion Dell Inspiron 1525 battery at the end of her life after a very aprupt. Is contradicted, however, that at least some of the affected computer with another operating system back to a normal life. Microsoft takes the complaints seriously, apparently, so that stands to reason that there really is a problem with Windows 7 There. A Microsoft spokesman said they suspect a connection between the problem and certain versions of BIOS. However, apparently very different laptop models are affected, including devices from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG and MSI will have to contend with this problem.
